Undergraduate Accounting Scholarships
Note: I have not investigated the validity of these scholarships. Most of the scholarships listed here were obtained from official organizations, such as the AICPA, but I cannot offer any assurance that these are real scholarships and not scams. Please use common sense, and let me know if you sense anything fishy about the scholarships listed here!
AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship
$2,500/year. Minimum GPA of 3.0, student must have completed at least 30 semester hours of college coursework, including 6 hours of accounting classes.
The National Conference of CPA Practitioners Scholarship
$1,000 award. A merit-based scholarship awarded to graduating U.S. high school seniors planning to become a CPA. Must have a GPA of at least 3.3 to be considered.
As of the time I'm posting this link (August 2, 2011), the information page still says that applications must be received by December 15, 2010. It looks like this is a pretty active scholarship though, so presumably, submitting applications by December 15, 2011 should work this year.
